I enjoy working with others to help them become empowered and successful by unlocking their potential. During a client's time with me, they will always feel supported and encouraged. All sessions will be tailored to fit individual needs and will provide fresh perspectives and will go at the client's pace. I have worked with various organizations such as the Department of Family and Children Services, Methadone Clinics, Addiction Clinics, Community Behavioral Health and Private Practice. As a licensed counselor I have experience with psychological testing, suicide training and seminars. I have presented on panels for bullying, and given presentations on career counseling at local colleges. I work extensively with the homeless population and survivors of domestic violence to provide mental health services.

I have been Mental Health practitioner for 6 years. My passion for this profession stems from my helping personality. And any moment that I can have a positive impact on someone’s life, is a life helped. I understand there is not a one size fits all to counseling as it relates to therapeutic approaches, and so I have been trained in a variety of modalities including person centered, social learning, cognitive behavior therapy, and mindfulness. My goal is to help my clients, which include adults and families, to find healthy perceptions of themselves, while strengthening their relationships for the purposes of finding peace and feeling complete and safe.
My educational background includes a (M.S) Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health from Mercer University, as well as a (B.A) Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Clark Atlanta University.
